A special soccer event at the WIANTO stadium
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, a special soccer charity match sponsored by PASSION4IT GmbH took place at SpVgg Patersdorf's WIANTO Stadium. The legends team of TSV 1860 Munich competed against an all-star selection from SpVgg Patersdorf to support the club's youth work and give the players of the all-star team a unique soccer experience.
The idea behind the game
The match was the result of a spontaneous idea by Christian Kirsch, Managing Director of PASSION4IT GmbH, and the SpVgg Patersdorf management team led by board member Marco Fenzl. Kirsch used his contacts at TSV 1860 Munich to win over the legends team for the game. The legends team consisted of former TSV 1860 Munich professionals and active players from the second professional team.
The all-star selection of SpVgg Patersdorf
The SpVgg Patersdorf all-star selection, consisting of current and former players from the club, was coached by legendary coach Karl-Heinz Karl. Despite being clear underdogs, the team did their best to offer the spectators an exciting and entertaining game.
Supporting program and raffle
The charity match was accompanied by an attractive supporting program. The C-youth team of SpVgg Patersdorf played a pre-game and there was a barbecue. There was also a raffle with great prizes, which was generously supported by PASSION4IT GmbH and other sponsors. The prizes included an original TSV 1860 Munich jersey with all the signatures of the professional team, an Amazon Fire tablet, VIP tickets for a TSV 1860 Munich professional match and tickets for the RockTheHill Festival.
