Room for inspiration - grand opening of the RiverRoom!

The vision of PASSION4IT GmbH is to create sustainable added value for our planet and future generations through digitalization and to strengthen SMEs. With the RiverRoom, we are creating a space that offers the ideal location for creative workshops, inspiring lectures and courses for movement and relaxation thanks to state-of-the-art technical equipment and the fantastic location on the river "Regen". The grand opening took place on January 12 and 13. As part of the closed event on January 12, PASSION4IT Managing Director Christian Kirsch introduced guests to the unique concept in the region and the long journey with its ups and downs to get there. The subsequent flying buffet offered guests the perfect opportunity to discuss digital developments in the region.

District Administrator Rita Röhrl sees the RiverRoom concept as a great opportunity: "The RiverRoom is an offer to the region that cannot be valued highly enough," says Röhrl. "This is not about generating profits, but about creating digital added value, especially for small and medium-sized companies."

This target group in particular, but also all other interested parties, had the opportunity to visit the RiverRoom on the afternoon of January 13 as part of an "Open Day". After registering in advance, visitors were offered a range of exciting presentations throughout the afternoon. Christian Kirsch kicked things off with his presentation "Digital Mindset", explaining what really matters when it comes to the digitalization of companies. Sports model and presenter Gela Allmann gave the participants an emotional presentation entitled "Fight. Smile. Love." gave participants an insight into her life after her fateful sports accident in 2014, as well as a personal guide to a happy life and how to deal with challenges. In his subsequent presentation, tenkile founder Nick Traenkle made it clear that the topic of "New Work" is more than just a buzzword and that companies should take a close look at it. To round off the event, Thomas Kirchner presented his "Senseble" solution for digital occupational health management to the guests, rounding off a varied and eventful afternoon. During the breaks between the presentations, guests had the opportunity to chat with the speakers over free drinks and snacks. New Work expert Nick Traenkle sees the RiverRoom as a decisive added value, especially for remote companies: "The location offers a great opportunity to combine leisure activities and collaboration. On the one hand, this strengthens the team and promotes motivation".

As would also be the case with later bookings, all opening presentations could be attended both live in the RiverRoom and via Zoom transmission. In total, more than 200 participants attended the grand opening event over the two days.

PASSION4IT Managing Director Christian Kirsch draws a positive conclusion from the two opening days. "We achieved what we wanted to achieve - bringing people from the region together to discuss digital topics and discover the opportunities and added value of the RiverRoom. On behalf of the PASSION4IT team, I would like to thank everyone who visited us and made these two days a complete success."
