Digital Summit - LEGO® Serious Play® in the RiverRoom

LEGO® Serious Play® in action: Creative problem solving at the Digital Summit

How a playful method changes the way we look at complex challenges

Our latest Digital Summit took place on March 13 - this time with a very special focus: LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP). In the inspiring ambience of the RiverRoom, managers from a wide range of industries came together to learn about a method that combines playful thinking with strategic decision-making.

A method that makes complexity tangible

LEGO® Serious Play® is much more than just building with colorful bricks. The method is based on sound findings from cognitive science and psychology and helps teams to make abstract challenges visible and tangible. The "hands-on, minds-on" approach creates three-dimensional models that serve as communication tools to visualize thoughts, concepts and strategies.

Interactive insights and practical applications

The participants were first given an introduction to the basic principles and possible applications of LSP. They were then able to get active themselves: In interactive exercises, they built models that represented their individual perspectives on strategic challenges and innovations. Accompanied by experienced facilitators, new ideas and aha moments emerged that often remain hidden in traditional meetings.

Why LEGO® Serious Play® is worthwhile

Many of the managers present had no previous experience of this method. But the enthusiasm was great: the participants were able to experience at first hand how LSP promotes creativity, improves communication and enables deeper insights into complex relationships. Especially in times of increasing uncertainty and change, new ways of thinking are needed - and LEGO® Serious Play® is proving to be an effective tool for broadening perspectives and developing sustainable solutions.

We would like to thank all participants for their commitment and openness to this playful but highly effective method. The summit impressively demonstrated that small stones can have a big impact!
