How artificial intelligence connects people in Viechtach - and what it is already doing in everyday life today
On November 13, 2025, a special evening took place in the Viechtach Old Town Hall: the Everyman Event on the topic of artificial intelligence.
Round 90 participants filled the hall to capacity - the atmosphere was open, curious and characterized by a genuine interest in understanding AI better.
Invited by the Town of Viechtach and PASSION4IT.
Christian Kirsch led through the evening and made it clear: AI is not a topic for the future, but has long been part of our everyday lives - and it only works if people use it consciously and responsibly.
What makes AI „for everyone“? - The key messages of the evening
One sentence in particular stuck with me:
„AI provides you with 70 %. You have to do the remaining 30 % with your brain, heart and mind.“
This formula takes away the fear that AI could take over everything.
It shows that AI is a tool - not a decision-maker.
It helps to automate routines so that people can concentrate on the essentials.
