When it comes to sustainability, IT is perhaps the most complex of all industries: On the one hand, digital solutions help to reduce CO2 The potential to save energy - just think of avoiding business trips with the help of digital work. On the other hand, any data traffic, no matter how small, also consumes energy and data centers with high-performance computers require considerable amounts of electricity. That is why there is also a lot to do in our industry to reduce CO2-balance sheet. We have looked for a way in which we can make a contribution.

A long road of small steps.
We live in the Bavarian Forest National Park, we grew up with and in nature, we came here to climb mountains. Environmental and climate protection are therefore close to our hearts. In our daily activities, but also beyond that. That is why we have been supporting the Initiative "1% for the planet"through which we donate one percent of our income to environmental protection organizations. We are involved in the reforestation of mountain forests, the cleaning of water bodies and the protection of bees, orangutans and whales. With our efforts, 3,840 m2 rainforest in Canada and Peru. In 2023, together with Planted 3,200 trees planted in a regional company forest near us.
Of course, these are all just small steps, but - if many people take part - they will bring us closer to our goal together: To preserve our planet for future generations!
