Our mission
Thin air? Extreme temperatures? Exposed terrain?
Sorry, we make adventures boring.
Despite intensive planning, every ascent is full of imponderables and risks. A change in the weather here, a bumpy path there. As digital mountain guides, constant change has become part of our routine.
With our experience from many mountain tours and expeditions, we act with foresight instead of reacting. We often avoid hazards intuitively. We never stick to the beaten track: We take the unconventional route, out of our comfort zone, if it gets us to the summit faster.
The safety for this is provided by the person in front and behind us in the rope team. Sometimes motivating and demanding. Sometimes admonishing. Always with an eye on the big picture: so that you reach the summit with your project. And say at the top: "Somehow I imagined this would be more difficult."
Mantra? Spirit? Attitude?

FAQ
Everyone talks about digitalization, but no one really knows where to start. Understandably so - because there are an incredible number of things to consider, similar to a mountain tour. It's often not clear how to get started, which mountain should be the first and which route is the best. If you make just one misstep, it costs a lot of time and money. And that's where we come in! As a digital mountain guide, we take medium-sized companies across all sectors safely to the digital summit. We are convinced that all existing questions and requirements can best be clarified in a personal meeting. We therefore recommend that you start with our non-binding Exchange on digitizationthat opens the door to the digital future for you. Here you can meet our Managing Director Christian Kirsch to find out face to face what the collaboration could look like - free of charge and without obligation.
No, unfortunately we don't. We focus on vendor-neutral consulting and project management for our customers' digitalization projects. This ensures that we always find the best solution for the customer and do not build solutions based on our current range of software and hardware. But you can get everything you need from a single source, as we have access to a very large partner network.
The Digital Summit Community is a digital community of our customers and partners. As digitalization does not end at the office door or company gate, we have created the Digital Summit Community to promote cross-industry and cross-company exchange. As part of a fifteen-minute "Digital Summit Coffee" members network and exchange ideas on digitalization. Free, non-binding and 100% anonymous. The principle is simple: a random number generator regularly assigns you to one or more members and invites you to a calendar event. virtual coffee breaks in.
You can register at any time free of charge here do it! After verifying your e-mail address, select the days of the week and times when you would like to receive an invitation and you're ready to go.
We are delighted that you are taking part. Happy networking!
We were looking for a suitable location for our workshops, training courses and events for a long time. After we couldn't find anything suitable in the region, our founder Christian decided to simply build something suitable himself. The result is an inspiring location on the River Regen in the town of Viechtach, which is now regularly used by PASSION4IT, regional companies and a very active yoga community for events of all kinds. Further information and the booking platform can be found on the RiverRoom website.
Would you like to find out whether your company is ready for the digital future? If so, then our IT strategy consulting is the right path for you. Starting with our Digital Check, we determine your digital maturity level! In four steps you will not only get answers, but also concrete Recommendations for your path to a successful digital future. We start with a joint kick-off in which we put together your digital team, consisting of management, specialist departments and IT.
In the next step, each team member receives our questionnaire with around one hundred questions, which covers all aspects of your digitalization level in two to four hours. We then evaluate the responses based on our expertise and best practices.
The result: a digital roadmap for the next three to five years that will get you safely to your destination. And if you want, we can accompany you along the way.
The number of cyber attacks on companies in all sectors and public authorities is increasing rapidly in the wake of digitalization. The quality of attacks is also constantly increasing. Cyber security is therefore becoming an essential prerequisite for averting economic damage.
We help you to protect your company against cyber attacks. Our trained cyber security practitioners support you in gaining an overview of the current threat situation and develop specific recommendations for action. We also sensitize your employees to the dangers in cyberspace through targeted awareness training and work with you to develop a governance strategy in the form of guidelines and specifications.
No, our smallest customer has 7 employees and our largest customer has 30,000 employees. What is important to us is that we can generate real added value, and the size of the company only plays a subordinate role. We therefore advise medium-sized companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland across all sectors. Focused between 10 and 1000 employees. We only make an exception in the defense industry for ethical reasons and categorically refuse to work with them.
IT companies and active environmental protection. That often doesn't seem to go together any more than a V8 gasoline engine and the Greens. At least that's what people think. Today's young entrepreneurs in particular have not only professional skills but also a deep understanding of ecological interrelationships and the necessary action. The goal that many cannot yet mentally reconcile: To simplify the world of work through digitalization and to keep and make the world a better place to live. Ecological awareness is deeply rooted in the DNA of PASSION4IT. Perhaps it's our passion for the mountains, the Bavarian Forest, where our team is firmly rooted, or simply being parents with an eye on future generations. All of these reasons gave rise to our "NET ZERO 2025" project, with which we aim to become climate-positive by 2025.
We donate more than 1% of our annual turnover to non-profit environmental organizations that our employees are allowed to choose. For example, we have sponsored an orangutan, an orca and a humpback whale. We have also purchased and protected more than 3,000 m2 of wilderness in Canada and the Peruvian rainforest through a foundation. Now that we have drawn up a CO2 balance sheet, we have had a company forest with over 3200 trees reforested regionally so that we can also make the topic of "climate action" tangible locally.
No. But a paperless office is a desirable goal and also an enormous efficiency lever in terms of process digitization and mobile working.
Full order books provide security. However, if orders can only be fulfilled slowly due to material bottlenecks or a lack of skilled workers, customers often no longer rely on long-term cooperation. The question of "Who can deliver?" comes to the fore. The digitalized competitor with intelligent supply chains, semi-automated production and more resource-efficient production processes quickly has the edge here. New legislation can also present small and medium-sized companies in particular with the challenge of having to operate more sustainably. With our expertise, you can bring the knowledge and experience you need to survive in this environment into your company.
The counter question is, can you afford not to invest in digitization now? Fundamentally, however, it is justified to ask this question, because digitalization costs money. And it will remain so if you don't adapt the processes as well. This will change a lot in the company and you will encounter resistance. If you are not prepared to invest in all of these dimensions (digitalization, processes, change management) - and that doesn't just mean money - then you should think again. PASSION4IT has a very transparent pricing model and we always charge according to time and effort at the end of the month on the basis of activity reports. Our offers always represent a maximum budget, which we also adhere to 95%. If there is a need for more work, you will notice this at an early stage and we will talk about it and find a solution based on partnership. If we are faster - which often happens - then you can save the free budget or invest it in other topics that will help you make tangible digital progress.
The magic word is hybrid. Especially at the beginning of a partnership or a project, it is important to get to know each other personally and to develop a feeling for the challenges, despite all the "digital work". That's why we like to be on site at your company during this phase. Over time, most things can then be managed and solved remotely via video call (camera always on!). This is also the better way in terms of ecology and cost efficiency.
