How PASSION4IT guided an ERP selection project from readiness to a well-founded decision

At the project start on July 1, 2024, our client knew one thing for certain: they needed a new ERP system. But rather than diving headfirst into the market, the foundation for a well-informed decision was laid together with PASSION4IT — structured, efficient and with the entire project team on board.

Our services at a glance:

• ERP readiness training: In July 2024, all project participants were brought up to the same knowledge level. This enabled faster and better decisions down the road.
• Process analysis and documentation: In close collaboration, we analyzed and documented the company’s core processes (July and August).
• Script and scenario design: In September, a detailed script including scenario descriptions was developed — providing the perfect foundation for transparent vendor presentations.
• Shortlist creation: Based on the defined requirements, a shortlist of up to three vendors was compiled (September).
• Demo organization and coordination: In November, structured demo sessions with the remaining vendors took place — optimally prepared and coordinated by PASSION4IT.
• Proposal comparison and decision brief: In December, we supported the proposal comparison and delivered a well-founded recommendation.

The result: the shareholders and managing directors were able to select the right vendor on a solid decision basis — transparent, traceable and future-proof.
