Participants
5 to 12 leaders

Four to eight works best in practice, plus the people responsible for the areas involved.

€3,900 net at a fixed price

Preparation, the workshop day and the result document are included, no time and materials.

Who it is for
Mid-sized companies with 20 to 1,000 employees

Also without an IT department of your own, no prior AI knowledge required.

Outcome
Readiness status, prioritised use cases, AI guidelines, 12-month roadmap

Decision material you take with you, no software purchases and no licence contracts.

Bavaria, Austria and Switzerland

On your site, at our offices in Viechtach or in Munich.

On request with LEGO Serious Play, for teams that would rather build a strategy with their hands than consume slides.

Why

AI is not an end in itself.

Many talk about AI before they understand where in the company it actually creates value. We flip the order. Clarity first, then execution.

  1. 01

AI doesn't fix a broken organisation

  2. 02

AI needs data, processes and clear ownership

  3. 03

AI is only valuable if it works in everyday operations

  4. 04

    Not every process needs AI

  5. 05

Not every hype is a use case

Our own research

Our AI expertise has been audited.

Germany's certification body for the research allowance (BSFZ) has certified a PASSION4IT project as eligible research and development under the Research Allowance Act. The BSFZ seal is issued only to companies holding a positive assessment. For you that means the architecture behind our AI projects is built and tested in-house.

Certified project: Development of a semantically persistent multi-agent architecture for the automated extraction, integration and validation of implicit company knowledge from heterogeneous data sources.

What the BSFZ seal stands for

Honest advice, not AI hype.

We don't sell every new idea as a revolution. We tell you openly what works, what doesn't, and where you'd be burning money.

FAQs

Who is the AI consulting for?

For mid-sized companies with 20 to 1,000 employees that want to deploy AI in a sensible, controlled way.

Is your approach vendor-independent?

Yes. We advise honestly and independently — no vendor lock-in.

What is the AI Readiness Check?

A structured analysis of data, processes and organisation as an entry point into meaningful AI use.

Do I have to roll out an AI solution right after?

No. First comes clarity. Then we decide together whether — and how — implementation actually makes sense.

What does an AI workshop for mid-sized companies cost?

The AI potential assessment costs EUR 3,900 net at a fixed price. The scope is defined up front, there is no billing by effort and no supplementary invoices. Preparation, the workshop day and the prioritised roadmap as a deliverable are included.

How long does the AI workshop take?

The workshop itself runs for six hours on a single day. A short initial conversation to clarify objectives comes before it, and you receive the evaluation with the prioritised use cases afterwards.

What exactly do I get at the end?

A prioritised list of the use cases that actually work in your business, with an estimate of effort and benefit. Plus a roadmap with the next implementation steps and an assessment of the risks. Not a slide deck, but a basis for decisions.

How does the AI workshop run?

A short kick-off call sets the objectives beforehand. The day itself has four phases: AI readiness assessment (90 minutes), use cases and prioritisation (120 minutes), AI guidelines (90 minutes) and strategic AI planning (120 minutes). Afterwards you receive the write-up with the prioritised use cases.

Is the AI workshop eligible for BAFA funding?

Yes, through the programme for funding management consulting for SMEs. The assessment base is capped at EUR 3,500 per engagement, so the rate is not applied to the full fee: up to 50% in the western German states (max. EUR 1,750) and up to 80% in the eastern states (max. EUR 2,800). PASSION4IT is registered with BAFA, consultant number 222542. The application must be approved before consulting starts.

Who from the company should take part?

Management plus the people responsible for the areas where AI should take effect first. Four to eight participants is a good size. An in-house IT department or technical background is not required.

What is the difference between the AI workshop and the Digital Check?

The Digital Check assesses digital maturity across five dimensions and ends with an overall roadmap. The AI workshop is narrower and prioritises concrete AI use cases. If it is unclear where the business stands overall, the Digital Check is the right entry point.

How many people take part in an AI workshop?

Five to twelve leaders can take part, four to eight works best in practice. Beyond a dozen people the working session turns into an event and the decisions get postponed.

Do you also run the AI workshop in Austria and Switzerland?

Yes. We travel to Austria and Switzerland for the workshop day, or you meet us in Viechtach or Munich. The fixed price of €3,900 net applies regardless of location, travel costs are agreed beforehand. German BAFA funding, however, only applies to companies based in Germany.

Do we get a concrete implementation plan out of the workshop?

Yes. Phase four brings the readiness status, the prioritised use cases and the guidelines together into a 12-month plan with a budget and resource frame, success metrics and milestones. You can run the implementation yourselves, and we support it on request.

If you want to know where AI really helps you, start with the check.

No hype. No sales pressure. Just an honest assessment with substance.
